Main St. Shows!

  Hey y'all,  Ushio and I really enjoyed watching the shows and hanging out afterward when y'all performed at the Arts Festival in Ft. Worth. I had meant to getting around to posting a message here or emailing, but I've been very busy this past month. Career change and all. I hope everything is going well for everyone. See y'all when you come around again!

  Hella fun playing and hanging out with everyone in Ft. Worth.  You ppl make it so fun to just rock out on these big ol' drums.  Props to Gracie and Britanni for managing to resist the urge to run screaming with flailing arms in escape from the perc addicts.

Toyia, thanks for noticing.  Actually, being cute was my initial purpose as a member of Tokara, but we found out that Harumi and Yoko are much more successful in attracting adoring fans with their cuteness and mojo, so I had to break down and learn how to play. ;)

TOKARA in C.T. and N.Y.

  O-Tatsu Taiko is bringing TOKARA back to town with several workshops and performances planned.
May 15- TOKARA performs at the Wang Center
May 21- O-Tatsu Taiko performs with TOKARA in Pelham, NY

There are also several workshops available. To register, go to www.acteva.com/go/otatsu where you will be able to view and purchase tickets to all workshops and performances. (Spaces for workshops are limited, so sign up now)
O-Tatsu Taiko will perform with TOKARA in a festival to be held at the Community Church, 448 Washington Ave in Pelham, NY. (Conveniently located one block from the Metro North train station- 25 min ride from Grand Central). For those driving, the venue is also convenient to the Hutchinson Pkwy and I95. There will be food and refreshments available and a raffle and lots of fun activities for kids. 5pm til ? Tickets are $10 in advance/ $5 for children under 12. Purchase tixs at www.acteva.com/go/otatsu and also sign up for workshops there too. Workshops will be held in Hartford, Pelham, Stonybrook and Stamford.

  Thanks for writing everyone.
And thanks for being such nice and cool people in Fort Worth.  We hope that we can go there again in the near future.

For those who had asked about our N.Y. performances, so far we have a performance on May 21st at a community church in Pelham, N.Y.  I don't know the name of the church, but if you would like to know, please contact Sandra Shen at:
nattowoaini@yahoo.com

She is basically helping to organize the performances and workshops in N.Y. and Ct., so if there are any other open-to-the-public performances, she would know.  Mostly, they are school shows, though.

  hey thanks for singing my anime book guys. i thought ya kicked ass on stage in down town fort worth.man i wish yall could come to my high school and play.i hope we get to met again and this time i will have pen and paper alright and thanks again.yall are my heros.

  You guys are so awesome and I had so much fun listening to yall this weekend. Theres still one day left of Main Street Arts Festival, so I'll be there again!  All of you are SO nice and I really enjoyed talking to yall, especially Yoko!  Thanks for being so awesome!
